A strategy made up of tangible actions
Environmental sustainability is a shared responsibility and a tangible opportunity for transformation for companies. One step at a time, we help to play our part towards a better tomorrow. In particular, in every one of our activities, we commit ourselves:
- to use resources in an increasingly rational way
- to reduce waste
- to implement solutions that can ensure energy savings
A path that concerns not only the environment, but also the wellbeing of the territories and communities in which we operate.

Our achievements
We have long adopted international standards and sustainable technologies which enable us to track outcomes, enhance them over time, and guarantee peak efficiency in processes. Here are some achievements:
- LEED GOLD certification for the Tortona logistics hub and the Cambiago warehouse
- LEED PLATINUM for the Vimercate and Madrid sites
- LEED SILVER for the Zaragoza site
- LEED CS 2.0 for the Bilbao site
- Establishment of Zeliatech, the first European distributor of technologies enabling the double transition, digital and green
Smart management of consumption
Sustainability also involves our supply chain: the environmental impact is determined both upstream and downstream of the organisation. That’s why we have joined the ‘GHG Protocol’ (Greenhouse Gas Protocol) to improve every step. In parallel, we continue to enhance the efficiency of our energy procurement (an example being electricity, more than 98% of which comes from certified renewable sources), thereby contributing in a concrete way to the reduction of climate-altering emissions.

Integrated supply chain
We are working for an ever more responsible and interconnected value chain.
From the procurement of materials to logistics, we monitor every stage to minimise waste and promote conscious choices throughout the entire supply chain.

Transport emissions
We accurately measure the volumes generated along the routes between suppliers, warehouses, and customers, following the principles of the GHG Protocol, in order to target interventions and reduce the logistics carbon footprint. We have recently renewed part of the Group’s corporate fleet: 59% of the new vehicles have theoretical specific emissions lower than 50 g of CO2/km.
Group’s supply chain
The Esprinet Group operates in the ‘business-to-business’ IT supply chain and serves as a wholesale distributor of technological products. For this reason, every collaboration holds strategic importance: we only work with selected partners, prioritising suppliers who share our ESG standards and adopt virtuous practices.

From raw materials to waste: a sustainable culture
We redesign packaging to reduce the use of materials and improve logistics. As part of our Sustainability Packaging Programme, we have removed the use of virgin plastic, switched to recycled paper for cushioning materials, and implemented machines that create bespoke boxes. Pallets are reused or recycled. Every choice aims to reduce volume, waste, and the environmental footprint along the entire supply chain.
The main waste that the Esprinet Group needs to dispose of consists of paper, cardboard, plastic, pallet wood and iron. Within this framework, we are dedicated to reducing resource consumption, minimising waste generation, and encouraging its retrieval to promote the recycling of materials.
Recycling rate in accordance with the German Battery Act
In our capacity as producers of industrial batteries for the German market (registration number: DE 96932084), we report the recycling rates of exhausted industrial batteries achieved over the past year, in compliance with § 15 (3) BattG.
